5. Why we collect and use personal information

Personal information may be used to provide and operate AI-powered real estate video services, create and deliver videos, manage accounts, process payments and invoices, provide customer support, improve the website and workflows, communicate with users about listings and service-related matters, send promotional communications where permitted, publish testimonials or examples where permission has been given, protect legal rights, and comply with legal obligations.

6. AI processing and third-party providers

Howards Limited uses third-party providers and tools to operate its business and deliver services. These may include Google, Stripe, Seedance, Higgsfield, email and communications tools, analytics tools such as Google Analytics, and other service providers used from time to time.

These providers may process uploaded content and personal information on behalf of Howards Limited in order to provide hosting, analytics, payments, communications, and AI generation services.

Some third-party providers may use submitted content or data to improve, develop, or train their systems, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Users should avoid uploading sensitive or unnecessary personal information.

8. Cookies and analytics

The website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic and usage patterns, improve website functionality, and support analytics and marketing tools.

Howards Limited currently uses Google Analytics and may use other tools over time.

Users can usually control cookies through their browser settings, although disabling cookies may affect website functionality.

9. Promotional emails and marketing

10. Testimonials and customer videos

Howards Limited may use testimonials, case studies, completed videos, or examples of customer work only where permission has been given.

If permission is later withdrawn, that withdrawal will apply to future use after the request has been actioned.

11. Ownership and usage rights

Howards Limited may retain and manage completed videos and associated project files as part of operating its services, subject to this Privacy Policy and any permissions provided by the user.

Commercial ownership and licensing terms should also be read together with any applicable Terms of Service or customer agreement.

12. Retention

Completed videos are kept on the Howards Limited site for 1 month after creation or delivery, unless a longer retention period is reasonably required for legal, operational, backup, dispute-resolution, or contractual reasons.

Account, billing, and business records may be retained for longer where necessary for administration, tax, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

If uploaded content has been processed by third-party tools, copies or derived data may also be retained according to those third parties’ practices.

13. User responsibilities when uploading content

When uploading photos, media, branding, headshots, or other content, the user confirms that they own the content or have permission and all necessary rights to provide it, and that they have the right to authorise its use for the requested services.

The user also confirms that they have any necessary consents from identifiable people featured in the content, where required, and that the content does not unlawfully infringe another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or other rights.

14. How we protect personal information

Howards Limited takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These steps may include secure hosting practices, access controls, password protections, limited internal access, and the use of secure third-party providers where available.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

15. Access and correction

Individuals may request access to the personal information held about them and may ask for it to be corrected by contacting contact@howards.ai.
